Well, so, I don't really get on here monthly...but I seem to get on here more than the original siblings...tsk tsk tsk!!
Recent highlights from us:
Sammy started walking in mid-november, and hasn't stopped since.
Willy is officially bumped to second grade, and does spelling and reading from 3rd and 4th respectively. He does times tables at lunch with dad.
Lots of recent pictures on brightonkids.blogspot.com , including pictures of Sam's birthday will go up really soon (as soon as Dave brings the computer home...)
Dave is in Paris this week.
I've taken up knitting, and have almost completed my first pair of socks (pictures will go up on my blog when they're done)
Hmm, I think those are the essentials! I wax much more wordy (if not eloquent) on my blog, so feel free to visit, but right now Sammy is trying to throw dog toys at me as he hollers "BA!" (ball), so I think I need to get off the computer and hold him.
love,
jenni

Brighton Family Photos
Whoops, the link I posted before seems to be not working...so I'll try again! Brighton family photos are here (brightonkids.blogspot.com) Come look so you can tell me how cute my kids are and how jealous you are of the view we have in Pelican!
Congrats to Jamie yesterday!
We spent Christmas with my folks--got everybody in one place for the first time since my wedding 4 years ago. What a houseful. What fun! Two babies and 10 babysitters...I'll take that ratio anyday!
Currently we are stuck in Juneau praying for clear weather so that we can get home to Pelican. Yesterday they cancelled the flight, and today we're delayed (which often turns into cancellation...) So we'll see I guess. thankfully we are able to stay with my second cousin, or my first cousin once removed, or something (Dad's cousin). She has a spare room and told us to make ourselves at home...she has cats, which Dave is allergic to, and we would really love to be in our own house again...but at least we're not racking up hotel bills while we wait for a plane. Be thankful for the little blessings, right?
Yesterday we went and saw "The Water Horse" a movie about the Loch Ness Monster. We really liked it, and heartily recommend it. There were a couple of parts that might be a little scary for younger kids, but it's a nice clean PG, and we figure we'll end up buying it for the family. (We also found out that "Prince Caspian" comes out in May--YAY!)
