Gorgeous part of the Klamath National Forest in Northern California, and a much-needed headclearing weekend. Late spring meant all the wildflowers were still out . . .just amazing. There did come a point, about 3/4 of the way up, in 95 degree heat, snot running out my nose, dirt coating my lower legs, when it became kind of like labor with Kai did- just something to get through because it wasn't like I could change my mind and turn around . . .but then we got to the end and I almost cried it was so beautiful.
